Dear friends and supporters of WIHS radio:

On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Management and the Staff of WIHS Radio, our sincere thanks for your participation in our 18th Annual Wheels for the World Collection Drive!

Listeners from across Connecticut and southern Massachusetts dropped off wheel chairs, walkers, canes and crutches at four locations across our coverage area.  When the week-long drive was finished, we received 992 mobility divices!  I really appreciate the willingness of the Bible Church of Waterbury to join with us this year in serving as a drop location.  Please pass along my thanks to those who helped in the effort.  Be sure to visit our Web Site, WIHSradio.org, to see pictures from the 2018 collection drive.

2018 is also a milestone year in that we have now surpassed 10,000 mobility devices which have been collected since our partnership with Joni & Friends started 18 years ago.  Joni is aware of this, and is so very grateful to our listeners and ministry partners, like your church, for what has been accomplished.  Bringing the gift of mobility, and the gift of the Gospel message to those who need them most, has brought multiple blessings!

In Christ,
Mark Channon
